LEEIN Law Firm (the “Firm”) establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations to protect the personal information, rights, and interests of data subjects and to address grievances concerning personal information in a prompt and effective manner.

Article 1 (Categories of Personal Information Processed, Purposes of Processing, and Retention Period)

The categories of personal information processed by the Firm, the purposes of processing, and the applicable retention periods are as follows.

Client Personal Information

Purpose of Processing	Performance of legal services and communications, including the preparation of documents necessary to handle matters commissioned by or otherwise involving a client
Retention Period	Until the purpose of processing has been fulfilled or the client withdraws consent to the processing of personal information

Article 2 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Firm provides personal information to third parties only with the consent of the data subject, where specifically permitted by law, or in other circumstances falling under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 3 (Destruction of Personal Information)

① In principle, the Firm destroys personal information without delay when it is no longer necessary, including when the retention period set forth in Article 1 has expired or the purpose of processing has been fulfilled. This does not apply where retention is required by another law.

② Where the Firm is required by applicable law to retain personal information rather than destroy it, the relevant personal information or personal information file is stored and managed separately from other personal information.

③ The Firm selects personal information subject to destruction and destroys it with the approval of the Chief Privacy Officer.

④ Personal information in electronic file format is permanently deleted using a method that prevents restoration. Records, printed materials, written documents, and other recording media are shredded or incinerated.

To protect personal information and address complaints relating to personal information, the Firm designates the following Chief Privacy Officer pursuant to Article 31(1) of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Article 5 (Amendments to this Privacy Policy)
